We cannot believe that our business has managed to get nominated and become finalists for The Peterborough Small Trade Business of the Year category at The Small Business Awards Peterborough. We are so happy to have been shortlisted for this category and be recognised in this way.
Secondly, we would like to say thank you so much to those people that nominated us, we have no idea who you are but are very grateful for your support and faith in us. This means so much to us as a small business and to us as new business owners.
Now it is a bit of a waiting game; later this month the public votes will open so people can vote for us through the Peterborough Small Business Awards website which makes up part of our overall score. Then, on the 24th August we have our interview with a judging panel to tell the judges more about our business and what we do – this also makes up part of our total score.
At sometime before the awards we will get a call from a mystery customer to check our level of customer service. This is the final part of the scoring criteria and the part we are least worried about as we know we offer the best level of customer service that we can so we are feeling pretty confident about that part.
Then we need to wait until October when we will attend the awards ceremony and find out who the winners of the awards are. We are so excited and feel so privileged to be recognised amongst some amazing businesses in our very early lives as business owners.
We would like to wish all the finalists the best of luck in the awards and we look forward to meeting you all in October; we shall keep you posted on the outcome of the night – but until then, please keep your fingers crossed for us and we will let you know when the voting lines open!
